Volunteer Information

Adult Volunteers (age 18 and over)

• Obtain an FBI Fingerprint Clearance ($33)  through Cogent Systems
  • select DPW
  • register on-line
  • leave the agency blank
  • chose Employment with a significant likelihood…
  • print the authorization
  • go to the UPS Store in Mechanicsburg to have your fingerprints taken
  • you should receive a clearance form in a couple of weeks.
• Complete a Boys and Girls Club volunteer application , write “Trips For Kids” on the application
• Submit the application, $10 for the Boys and Girls Club’s background investigation, and a copy of the FBI clearance form to the Boys and Girls Club by mail or in person. Once you are cleared the Boys and Girls Club will notify me, and I will notify you.
• Many organizations require the FBI clearance, so keep the original for future volunteer work

Teen Volunteers

• Complete and submit a Boys and Girls Club volunteer application , write “Trips For Kids” on the application
• Parent or Guardian must complete and sign the TFK Waiver Form
